What this portal publishes

When a certificate is verified, the portal displays only the details needed to confirm that the certificate is genuine: certificate number, verification ID, recipient name as printed on the certificate, certificate title, category, issue date, expiry date where applicable, status and the issuing company.

What it never publishes

The portal does not hold or display Aadhaar or PAN numbers, mobile numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, bank details, KYC records, employment records or internal administrative notes.

Search engines

Verification pages are served with instructions not to be indexed, and the portal's robots file disallows crawling of verification routes. Certificates are therefore not intended to appear in search results.

Logs

Verification attempts are logged to detect abuse and to support certificate holders. IP addresses are stored as a one-way hash together with a truncated address; the full address is not retained.
